If you live in Dubai or UAE as a Ugandan, you can be wealthy quickly by doing some business back home. There are several businesses that you can do but I will share with you based on research what business type you can do today.
First of all, you need a start-up capital of at least 3,000,000 Ugandan Shillings which is approximately 3000 UAE dirhams as of the time this post was written.
A security guy can earn such an amount in just one month. A cleaner or any other odd job doer can earn that in 3 months depending on their individual expenditure.
Therefore, such capital could be easier to raise when you find yourself here in UAE.
Now, below are the business that you can start if you live in UAE and want to start a business in Uganda.
- Boutique- A clothing shop is referred to as a Boutique in Uganda. If you have the means, you can rent a shop and start selling clothes back home or in Uganda.
- Electronic Shop-There is a lot of electronic shops in UAE where you can get cheap electronic goods to sell at home. Sharjah is the home for all electronics in UAE. Buy them for a low price and sell them at home.
- Cosmetic Shop- Perfumes and pomade are also good items to sell in Uganda. If you live in UAE these things are easy to come by. In Dubai or Sharjah you can easily get them to sell at a very cheap price. Also, on Facebook, there are a lot of people selling such products also at very cheap prices.
- Provisions Shop or Small market- Food items like sugar, biscuits, etc are also cheap in UAE. You can take them home to sell. Or you can buy it at home in Kampala at the depot at a cheap price to sell at any other place.
- Farming(Poultry, Goat, etc)- Farming is another good venture. Poultry farms can be very profitable as well as other farming practices.
