A 10-year-old Chrisland school pupil who was allegedly raped in a video circulating on Social Media as they embarked on a trip to Dubai has led to the closure of all Chrisland Schools in Nigeria.
In a report sighted on the Guardian Newsagency website, the Government of Lagos has closed all Chrisland Schools pending investigations on the alleged 10-year-old girl rape case.
The School organized a Dubai trip for its pupils which led to indisciplinary actions in the course of their journey.
Per the report, In a letter purportedly signed by its Head Teacher, G. I. Azike, which had the name of Chrisland School to the unnamed girl’s parents, the girl was suspended indefinitely.
The school, in the letter, said it discovered that their daughter was involved in improper behavior during the recently concluded World School Games in Dubai.
The letter read: “With a few of her counterparts, she willfully participated in a game they called ‘Truth or Dare’, a game which led her and a few other co-learners to carry out the immoral act after the lights out instruction was given.
The video was posted on the Instagram page of a music executive, Ubi Franklin.
