Joseph and Mary lived in Kongo, a suburb of Nabdam District in the Upper East Region of Ghana.
On Wednesday, April 20th, according to neighbors of these couples, Joseph Banike and Mary Banike were found on the veranda after they were electrocuted.
Reports from Ghanaweb indicate that the couple uses an eclectic wire as a dry line. The wife was first to die as she drown water from a borehole nearby into a drum and got herself entangled with the wire.
The husband trying to save his beloved wife also got electrocuted too but was pronounced dead when he was rushed to a nearby hospital.
