The Hafilat Card or Abu Dhabi Bus card as its popularly known can be recharged online in these below steps.
- Go to Hafilat's website at https://hafilat.darb.ae. You will find the below screen displayed as shown below.
- Go to the section where it says "Enter the card serial number printed at the bottom of your card" Turn the backside of your Hafilat bus card and you will find 15 digits at the bottom left corner of the card. Without adding the 01 which is already given on the portal. Input all the other 15 digits in the space provided on the portal. Click on Ok to go to the next page after the number has successfully been input.
- On the next page, you will find the card details. It will show the balance of the card you have, the expiry date, and other important information. Here is where you will have the chance to select how much you wish to recharge. Select the amount from 10aed to100aed depending on how much you want to recharge.
- After selecting the amount you want to recharge successfully, you will have a pop-up on your screen that, "Product was added to your basket".
- Go to view basket /Payment. Select or accept the terms and conditions. Add your email address to proceed to the next page where you can choose your payment method.
- After you finish adding your email address, You will be redirected to a secured payment portal. The abudhabipay.gov.ae. This is another page where you choose your payment methods. There are 4 payment options. The Debit/Credit Card, Samsung Pay, Payit, and Payby which is widely used in UAE.
- Select the option that suits you and continue. We will choose from the list PayBy. To recharge your Payby account, if you do not have one, first download Payby from the google play store. Install and Update your details. Visit the nearest Etisalat, NT, or Upay kiosk and machines outlet anywhere to recharge your Payby balance. Now you head to Payby account on the Hafilat portal and choose it as your payment option. Find PAYBY also on Totok and Botim to make payments too.
- Scan and pay your required amount by using the scan section of the Payby account. Confirm your purchase. The amount will reflect on your card according as you requested.
A successful payment message will be sent to your mobile after you use the Payby payment method.
