Masaar Scholarship
The Ministry of Finance and The Federal Authority for Government Human Resources offer college scholarships through the Masaar programme to help students complete their studies in finance and accounting.
The programme allows students obtain scientific qualifications so that upon completion of the course, you can be employed at the Ministry of Finance.
To join the programme, the following requirements should be met:
- Students must have a high school certificate (or equivalent) with an average grade, of no less than, 75% or a cumulative average of no less than 3%
- The date of graduation from high school must not be more than three years
- Students must not be employed or combining more than one scholarship

Emirates Nuclear Energy Corporation (ENEC)
ENEC offers a scholarship for talented Emirati students to pursue their Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in nuclear engineering.
The programme is offered in partnership with Abu Dhabi Polytechnic to offer students the chance to gain professional experience and familiarise themselves with specialists within the field. To apply for the programme, a student must:
- Be a UAE national
- Not exceed 22 years of age
- Be a high school graduate in the Advanced Track with a minimum average grade of 80%
- Earn a 5.5 or equivalent in the English proficiency test (IELTS)

Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) Scholarship Programme
ADNOC offers scholarships to allow students to pursue their undergraduate or postgraduate studies in specialised fields such as engineering, artificial intelligence, finance management, and economics, both within the UAE and internationally.
ADNOC helps to encourage students to pursue their studies so that they can help achieve the UAE’s economic and industrial objectives.
To be eligible for the programme, the student must:
- Be medically fit
- Pass the ADNOC Scholarship Department interview
- Obtain a military service release letter (if applicable)

Information Communication Technology (ICT) Fund
The UAE’s ICT Fund was the first in the Arab world to develop fast, innovative and stable changes to the ICT sector and much like their past accomplishments, they aim to set industry standards on a global level.
The ICT Fund’s BETHA programme will support distinguished Emirati students studying computer engineering, electronic engineering, computer science, and information technology
to contribute to the industry.
The programme enables Emirati students to study in the UAE, USA, UK, Australia, Japan, and other industry leading countries.

Department of Education and Knowledge (ADEK)
ADEK offers UAE nationals the opportunity to obtain a scholarship in the UAE or internationally.
The scholarships are open to Emirati students in grade 12 or undergraduates in university, under the age of 24, and are interested in the following fields:
- Energy
- Logistics
- Aerospace
- Information and communications technology
- Tourism and hospitality
- Medicine and health
- Defence

Mohammed bin Rashid Space Centre
The Mohammed bin Rashid Space Centre (MBRSC) scholarship programme provides financial support to outstanding students to complete their studies in science and engineering.
The programme attracts students who wish to pursue their education in the fields of administrative sciences, general sciences, and engineering.
To join the programme, applicants must:
- Obtain at least an 85% in their high school education
- Have a minimum cumulative average of 2.8 for their university studies

Many universities in Abu Dhabi offer scholarships to UAE, residents, and international students.

Expatriate students can check with each university to find available scholarships and the requirements needed to apply, as they vary from one university to another.
Future Teachers Scholarship
The Future Teachers scholarship is offered in cooperation between the Ministry of Education and Khalifa University and offers scholarships in mathematics, statistics and chemistry for Emirati students residing in UAE.
The programme covers full tuition fees and provides academic and vocational support, in addition to the possibility of getting hired by the Ministry of Education.
For admission to the programme, UAE nationals should meet the admission requirements followed by Khalifa University, while Arab students residing in the UAE should meet the following requirements:
- Must be a citizen of an Arab country and residing in the UAE for the last three years
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent from one of the accredited schools in UAE
- Must not be more than 20 years of age and it should not be more than one year since graduation from high school
- Must have earned at least 90% or its equivalent in their high school diploma
- Must have a score of 6 in the IELTS academic exam
- Must be committed for full-time study
- Must obtain admission to Khalifa University to study Bachelor of Science in Applied Mathematics and Statistics
