In a post that is sighted on Khaleej times and WAM, UAE has now scrapped the mandatory wearing of Mask in outdoor spaces. It was explained that the UAE's National Authority for Emergency, Crisis, and Disaster Management (NCEMA) announced on Friday that people not wearing masks in open spaces would now not be an offense.
Also, social distancing in economic and tourism places is also not required. But a face mask is required in close spaces.
For people whom we regard as close contact to Covid-19 patience are not to go for quarantine but two(2) PCR test 5 days apart is only required of them. The infected will not be wearing wristbands.
When it happens that you have contracted the virus, it is still mandatory to go for Isolation. For Emiratis, it's a 10days mandatory isolation.
Also, there is still one(1) meter distancing rule in mosques and churches. Green-Pass is still mandatory with 4 days of negative tests to attend all local event, exhibition, cultural and social ativities.
The authority calls on all community members to cooperate and adhere to preventive measures to confront the Covid-19, in order to preserve the gains being witnessed today in terms of recovery, crisis management, and comprehensive community health and safety.
