The man had before threatened the lady to do so after the lady said she was no longer interested in continuing the relationship.
The husband after seeing those lewd messages called on the wife and learned that the phone is stolen and she is being blackmailed. For that matter, he took the issue to the police which led to the arrest after investigations were conducted.
