- Clean rooms arrange the beds and setup the housekeeper amenities. • Clean hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms and other work areas so that health standards are met. • Clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and/or draperies, using vacuum cleaners and/or shampooers. • Carry linens, towels, toilet items, and cleaning supplies, using wheeled carts. • Keep storage areas and carts well-stocked, clean, and tidy. • Replace light bulbs. • Replenish supplies such as drinking glasses, linens writing supplies, and bathroom items. • Wash windows, walls, ceilings, and woodwork, waxing and polishing as necessary. • Cleanse the entire room after a guest has been discharged or shifted to another room. • Inform the reception of the room status through housekeeping records.
- Compliance with service standards (presentation, timeliness etc.), wastages, sales • Customer feedback, customer survey results / Mystery shopper, customer complaints • Maintain food hygiene standards in line with guidelines. • Maintaining personal hygiene and standards of cleanness. • Should have 1-2 years minimum work experience in a hotel as a room attendant.
