The probation period is still limited to six months, but under the new law, employers need to submit a fourteen(14) day written notice before terminating the employee.
Previously, termination during probation was effective on an immediate basis.
A one(1) month notice is required if you wish to change your job during your probation when this new law comes to pass on Feb 2.
If you wish to leave the country on your probation, you need to alert your employer.
You can face a ban if you moved outside the country on your probation without a notice.
