The UAE department in charge of travel and disaster, GCAA and NCEMA respectively has brought to the public its decision to suspend all travels from these countries.
The suspension of all inbound flights for national and international carriers and transit passengers from Kenya, Tanzania, Ethiopia, and Nigeria will take effect from Saturday, December 25, effective 7.30am.
This came as a curb to prevent the new covid variant (Omicron).
UAE nationals are also advised not to go to these countries. Only for an emergencies, official delegation or scholarships case.
Some high diplomats are exempted from this case which include UAE national with their first-degree relatives, diplomatic missions and golden residence holders.
